Everyone Deserves a Chance

lgbt student on scholarship

Ever since I began my consulting practice, I have helped students from disadvantaged backgrounds. As an international student myself, I was only able to attend college at a university that gave me a full scholarship (luckily, Stanford did!)

In 11th grade, I had a teacher who helped me improve my English for free. She let me in her private classes and while all the rest of the students payed her a fee, I attended for free and I have been grateful to her ever since.

It is my deep belief that every student who is motivated and bright deserves a helping hand.

If you are an LGBTI student and/or if you come from a low-income family, please write me at ssp2123@columbia.edu with the Subject line: SCHOLARSHIP FOR COLLEGE and briefly explain your situation in the email.

I will consider a number of students every admissions cycle for help with various aspects of their applications on a pay-what-you-can basis.
